On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Croatia at EXPO 2025 Osaka on Saturday, September 20, 2025, Opera b.b. Zagreb performed on the stage of the Festial Station.
Opera b.b. Zagreb, as the first chamber opera theater in Croatia, founded in 2006 with the mission of promoting opera on a national and international level, presented the opera Nikola Šubić Zrinjski to a packed Festival Sation, a work that holds a special place in Croatian cultural identity.
This performance is the first Croatian opera performance in Japan in 65 years, continuing the tradition of cultural exchange that the Croatian National Theater began more than half a century ago.
The performance of the opera by Nikola Šubić Zrinjski placed special importance on the ensemble and the presentation of the national heritage of the Republic of Croatia to visitors at EXPO 2025 Osaka.
