Klapa Mriža's performance on the occasion of the National Day celebration

On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Croatia at EXPO 2025 Osaka on Sunday, September 21, 2025, Klapa Mriža performed on the stage of the National Day “Ray Garden” arena and on the central stage of Commons C.

Numerous visitors to EXPO 2025 in Osaka had the opportunity to experience one of the greatest musical treasures of the Croatian coast – klapa singing, performed by the klapa Mriža.

Klapa Mriža, which was founded in 2008 in Split in front of a packed National Day “Ray Garden” arena and the central stage of Commons C, brought traditional klapa singing to all visitors as part of Croatian and world cultural heritage under UNESCO protection.

With their performances and a cappella singing, they presented the authentic spirit of Dalmatia and the tradition of klapa singing, thematically conveying love, nostalgia, joy, but also life's trials in which, above all, local history and universal human experiences are shown.
